YOUR FIRST TAKEOFF
What to prepare, what to check, and how to finish with reviewed scope.
Sign in, choose your company, and open Projects. Owners and administrators manage company access in Settings.
Add the PDF to your project. Each upload is a new revision; earlier drawings stay separate.
Different trades produce separate takeoffs. Mirrors and showers are the initial focus; accuracy for other trades has not been validated.
Approve the takeoff when all included items have been checked. This makes that snapshot read-only. Export CSV or Excel from the approved takeoff; only approved items are included.
The worksheet keeps units, source references and review notes. Check that it fits your estimating workflow before using it downstream.
The drawing may not state it, the relevant sheet may be excluded, or the evidence may not establish which assembly it belongs to. Check the drawing and applicable specifications. Add an estimator edit with its source and a reason; do not assume a default thickness.
Different views or annotations can produce competing readings. Open the evidence for each alternative, establish the controlling source, and select or enter the correct value. Choosing a reading records an estimator edit.
A new draft is created. Approved snapshots stay unchanged. Earlier edits can carry forward where an unambiguous same-revision match is established. For mirrors and showers, use Match an earlier item to compare ambiguous items or older revisions and transfer only the edits you select. Review them against the current drawings.
No. Rejected items remain in the review history and are excluded from approved exports. Reopen an item if it needs further review. Deleting an entire drawing set is a separate permanent action reserved for owners and administrators.
Owners, administrators and estimators can review takeoffs. Viewers have read-only access. The API verifies your current company membership and permissions for every operation.
This early-access application supports estimator review. It does not replace project specifications, controlling drawing details, or field verification.
